Release products to manufacturing and market
Myra has an extensive knowledge and experience within manufacturing requirements from various product fields and manufacturing techniques; from medical devices with full documentation to swift development projects for consumer product. Taking responsibility for mechanical engineering in parallel with industrial design is key to reach the market in the best way possible.
Manufacturing in focus
Involving the mechanical engineering aspects in the design project from the start ensures that the product will meet requirements for easy and successful manufacturing. This will get the product to market more time and cost efficiently. During the project phases we frequently use our in-house 3D printers to verify the required functions for design and mechanical engineering and collaborate closely with the customer manufacturing site.
Design output to a successful product
The output from the mechanical engineering CAD work varies depending on customer needs. Either we support the customers mechanical department and supply drawings and documentation, or we take full responsibility for the documentation needed for manufacturing and verification. The output is 3D-models for plastic injection moulding tools, 2D-drawings with tolerances for sheet metal manufacturing, and documentation needed to support verification, risk management and CE-marking etc.
