Design for Improved Well-Being
Myra joined Ambicare’s development team at an early stage for the creation of Quiteframes. Ambicare needed guidance in developing a shielded eyewear frame that would help improve the user’s focus. We understand that 60-80% of the information processed by our brains is visual, and by reducing this input, the brain can relax, leading to improved focus. Our task was to create a product based on these complex findings.
Hands-on Eyewear Design
Myra worked closely with Ambicare to bring their vision of a fully shielded eyewear frame to life. We started by creating mood boards that would reflect the target audience’s needs and preferences. Through multiple prototypes and user tests, we finally arrived at a form and function that met the target audience’s requirements.
Patented Innovation for Improved Focus
The soft shielding on Quiteframes eliminates peripheral distractions and minimizes flickering from overhead lights. Part of the lenses are nearly opaque to provide maximum shielding without making the user feel too enclosed. To ensure maximum comfort, the hinges are flexible, with soft and adjustable temple tips and nose pads. By using Quiteframes, people can improve their well-being and have a more sustainable and focused work experience.
