Building on a Successful Partnership
Myra and Contura have been collaborating since the mid-2000s, and it’s always a pleasure to work with such a quality-focused brand. Contura develops stoves for a wide market, offering fireplaces that are both stylish and functional. In this project, the focus was on exploring new formats and proportions.
Innovative Door Format
The goal was to create a stove with a large glass window in the door, that would complement other series in Contura’s portfolio. To achieve this, numerous sketches were created to determine the best landscape format that would showcase the fire. The result is a fantastic stove series that meets all the requirements.
A Fireplace to Cherish
The small depth of the stove makes it easy to integrate into any interior design, while its wide window offers an unobstructed view of the fire. The stove’s spacious firebox accommodates logs up to 50 cm long and has a flexible placement option. The surround is available in natural artstone or soapstone, preserving heat for longer. With Contura’s softshell handle, you don’t need gloves, even with the high radiant heat generated by the stove. And, with their commitment to the environment, emissions from this stove are significantly lower than earlier models.
